Curriculum matters

In this section of the L&T@UNSW website, you will find information and resources that will help you in your course and program development activities.

Here you can find information about course design, implementation, and review. To enhance the effectiveness of your course and program development activities, we invite you to use the UNSW Guidelines on Learning that Inform Teaching. The Guidelines are 16 statements about student learning, based on the educational research literature and established good practice. The website also provides idea sheets to assist you in implementing the Guidelines.

The UNSW graduate attributes policy, passed in 2003 commits the university to helping students develop these 12 attributes during their time with us. The graduate attributes pages will give you ideas about how to integrate the attributes into your courses and programs.

The Blended learning pages support you in the integration of eLearning to enhance your campus-based courses.

As you engage in course and program development, it is important that you seek feedback from your students. In this section of the site, you can read about how the UNSW Course and Teaching Evaluation and Improvement (CATEI) process is designed to help you do this.
