Gaining recognition for teaching
As a sessional teacher at UNSW, you are eligible to apply for a number of awards and grants. Underpinning these awards and grants is a recognition of the crucial role that sessional teaching staff play in developing quality learning and teaching environments.
The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Sessional Teaching recognises the invaluable contribution that sessional teaching staff make to the University. The award gives recognition to the dedication, commitment and skill of those teachers. There are two award categories for sessional staff:
