Educational Technologies and eLearning

Learning & Teaching @ UNSW engages with academic and non-academic staff in incorporating eLearning into programs and curriculum. Our approach to eLearning is to begin with understanding the students, defining the learning outcomes and understanding the context in which learning and teaching occurs. Learning and teaching strategies are then selected which align with the students needs and the expected outcomes.  This forms a basis for identifying well-researched eLearning and educational technologies to support those strategies. See the planning diagram below for web resources mapped to this development process.

Learning & Teaching @ UNSW provides professional development and support for the following educational technologies:

  • My eLearning Vista & eLIMS
  • Lectopia
  • My Media
  • Turnitin Similarity Detection Service
  • Wimba

More information about these technologies and other services is available through the eLearning portal

Queries and issues can be directed to us via the IT Service Desk (+61 2 9385 1333, servicedesk@unsw.edu.au)
